What is KPI Exploration? 

KPI Exploration is a half-day interactive experience—virtual or in person—that brings the KPI into groups and teams. It introduces polarities and uses the group’s results to deepen connection, strengthen effectiveness, and build Both/And capability. Whether at a retreat, an offsite, or in the midst of change, it helps teams see themselves more fully, rebuild trust, and align around what matters most. Practitioners certified through Train-the-Trainer gain a ready-to-use, customizable session that extends the KPI beyond individual debriefs and into collective transformation. 

To facilitate this experience, Practitioners must be KPI Certified and have completed the KPI Exploration Train-the-Trainer course. 

How Train-the-Trainer Sets You Up for Success 

Train-the-Trainer is an immersive 8-hour virtual course delivered over two half-day sessions. You’ll experience KPI Exploration as a participant, then shift into the facilitator role to practice core elements, work with the Basic Toolkit, and explore how to position it with clients. 

With prework, guided workshops, and support from Brian Emerson and Rachael Clarke, you’ll gain the confidence, structure, and flexibility to bring KPI Exploration into your client and team work. 

Two Half-Day Virtual Sessions 

Session One

Step into the KPI Exploration as a participant, take part in Wheel-based sensemaking, and begin to see how polarity preferences shape group effectiveness. 

Session Two

Move into the facilitator role, practice core elements, work with the Basic Toolkit, and explore logistics, positioning, and Q+A. 

Prework and Practice Between Sessions 

Before the course, you’ll access our learning platform with video resources and preparation guidance. Between sessions, you’ll complete reflections and a practice assignment to begin applying the concepts in your own work.
